Shortcuts keep layout and motion work moving without constant panel switching.

## Tools

- `V` selects the move tool.
- `H` selects the hand tool.
- `F` creates frames.
- `T` creates text.
- `R` creates rectangles.
- `O` creates ellipses.
- `L` creates lines.
- `Shift+L` creates arrows.
- `S` creates stars.
- `P` selects the path tool.
- `Shift+P` selects free draw.
- `Shift+A` creates auto-layout groups.

## Editing

- `Cmd/Ctrl+Z` undoes.
- `Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+Z` redoes.
- `Cmd/Ctrl+A` selects all.
- `Cmd/Ctrl+C` copies the selected layer or layers without creating anything new.
- `Cmd/Ctrl+V` pastes the copied layer selection.
- `Cmd/Ctrl+D` duplicates immediately.
- `Cmd/Ctrl+G` groups.
- `Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+G` ungroups.

## Navigation

Use the hand tool, trackpad gestures, or wheel input to pan and zoom the canvas. When editing timeline motion, timeline zoom stays inside the timeline instead of changing browser page zoom.

## Selection tips

Use the layer panel when objects overlap. For covered frame content, `Cmd/Ctrl+click` or a quick second click can help recover the parent frame selection path.
