Figma paste is designed for moving selected design material into flare.design without rebuilding the whole composition by hand.
Copy from Figma
In Figma, select the frame, group, or layers you want to reuse. Copy the selection, then switch to flare.design and paste into an open canvas.
What gets converted
flare.design reads the clipboard data that Figma provides and converts supported structure into canvas layers. Text, frames, simple shapes, images, and basic hierarchy usually transfer best.
Complex components, plugin data, unsupported effects, and deeply nested variants may need cleanup after paste.
Tips for better results
- Copy frames when you want structure, not loose layers.
- Detach or simplify complex components before copying.
- Make sure images are loaded in Figma before copying.
- Keep text editable when you plan to animate or revise copy later.
Fallback path
If a specific Figma selection does not paste cleanly, export the visual as an image for reference, then rebuild the important editable text and motion layers in flare.design.
